As the Commissioner left the office, other officers started to give their reactions.
"Wow, this is crazy" Lily said.
"Finally, justice has prevailed" Jude said nodding his head to Lily's comment "we all accused the wrong person".
"Hmm, Archer did a good investigation on this" Chris added.
Collins hissed, feeling irritated "so he'll get promoted after all, he gets Hailey and he still gets the promotion. Is that not selfish?" Asking no one in particular.
"Well, I don't have a cause to lament, I'm no ones supporter" Jane voiced.
"And, what do you mean by that?" Sandra asked Jane.
"Let her be, it's not as if Mr. Mendy will be there for life, there's no evidence that he's the murderer and theft is not as bad as murder" Veronica concluded.
On the other side, Archer and Hailey we're so happy, after all, no one is above the law, the duo hugged each other tightly for almost a minute.
"You should be doing this at home" Collins said, "not in public".

"Wow, it worked out and it's worth celebration" Mr. Andy said as Archer and Hailey joined his family to have lunch.
"I'm deeply sorry for the incident yesterday, I was in trauma and I couldn't think straight" Mrs. Andy apologized and poured them a drink.
"Your hard work and diligence brought you this reward, I would've been the cause of your imprisonment if not that you kept an extra copy" Mr. Andy explained.
"I knew Mr. Mendy tampered with your child to distract you and make you leave the office" Archer said.
"So when do you guys plan to tie the knot?" Mrs. Andy asked.
Archer and Hailey stole a glance at each other while Archer held her hands, "probably we should start thinking about that" They said.
"Good afternoon Mr. Luther, yes I'm Joshua Andy, Boss detective of Hilmal how can I help you Mr. Vice President?" Mr. Andy discussing on the phone "he committed a crime sir", "I can't, it's against the law and also his arrest was ordered by Mr. Gilbert. I have less opinion sir" he stressed "I'm sorry sir, you'll have to keep your money, I'm not poor either" Mr. Andy terminated the call.
"Was that Mr. Luther?" Hailey asked.
"Yes" Mr. Andy replied "we need to continue working, you can now see Mendy is dangerous even behind bars, we need to meet Mr. Gilbert now."

"He called me too, and he did persuade me, but I declined. I guess that's why he tried to use you" Mr. Gilbert.
"Sir, we should make sure that the innocent does not get punished" Mr. Andy said.
"Be rest assured, we're starting investigation today" Mr. Gilbert voiced.
"Okay sir" Mr. Andy said.
"I'll be here till the case is over, so get me a Medical Examiner, a trustworthy one that will be sincere and truthful" Mr. Gilbert said.
"Good sir" he looked behind "Hailey, Archer, go to the Medical Examiner's Office and bring one you trust the most" Mr. Andy told Archer and Hailey who were behind him.
"We'll do that now sir" they replied and left for the MEO.

"Hey, Ms. Damien" Archer greeted.
"Hey Steve" she replied to shock Hailey and Archer who were standing in front of her. "I was joking sir" she quickly added with a fake smile. "How can I help you Mr. and Mrs?" She said emphasizing the Mr. and Mrs.
"We're not here to joke Flora" Hailey said in an irritated but harsh way.
"Ms. Damien, the Commissioner, NPO invites you to his lodge to discuss one or two things". Archer explained.
"Mr. Gilbert wants to see me?" She asked in a low tone.
"Are you busy?" Hailey asked.
"Noo, why will I be busy?" Ms. Damien answered.ย
"We should get going then" Archer said, urging both ladies to go first.
"Let me quickly pick some things" Ms. Damien said, quickly rushing into her office.

"Good Afternoon sir" she bowed in respect to the old looking man.
"How are you?" The Commissioner asked.
"As you can see sir, I'm very fine" she replied.
"Wow, I love your courage" Mr. Gilbert said clapping.
"Thanks sir" she replied.
"She's worth the trust you have in her" Mr. Gilbert added looking at Archer
"Thanks for the compliment sir" Ms. Damien replied.
"I called to ask if you can be in charge of the recent murder case, you'll run the autopsies and decide who will be imprisoned" Mr. Gilbert explained.
"I'm capable and I'll make myself available sir" Ms. Damien replied.
"That's good to hear" Mr. Gilbert said.
"Sir" Archer called.
"You have something to say?" Mr. Gilbert asked.
"Yes sir, there's a problem sir, she lost the samples and their result sir" Archer said.
"Oh sorry Mr. Archer, I should have informed you earlier, I found them in the theatre the next day" Ms. Damien retorted.
Archers hands fell, he was surprised and then it dawned on him that Ms. Damien hid the samples on purpose, she's not to be trusted, Archer's face met Ms. Damien's to see her give an embarrassing smile, he could not change Mr. Gilbert's heart as he already likes the doctor.
"This silence is awkward, is there something I need to know?" The Commissioner asked looking as if scanning for the truth in their eyes.
"Nothing wrong sir" they replied together. "um, sir, I have to get going now to ensure that the results are ready in time" Ms. Damien added.
"Oh, sure, you're free to go" Mr. Gilbert said shaking the doctor.
"See you later Hailey and Archer" she said as she catwalks away waving at them.
"She's really beautiful" the commissioner concluded.

"There's trouble looming" Mr. Andy said over dinner in his house.
"I knew it too" Archer added.
"I don't understand what's going on?" dropping her spoon, Hailey laments "can someone just give me an explanation?" she added.
"The commissioner likes Flora" Mr. Andy said.
"And what trouble does that bring?" Hailey asked.
Archer cleared his throat "you should be more sensitive than this Hailey, you can see that she's not straight forward anymore, she told us that she lost the samples, didn't she?" Archer explained.
"She must have said that out of pressure of meeting the commissioner, knowing he'll get angry if told that the samples are missing" Hailey explained.
"Then it's to your advantage, she'll just forge a result that helps you" Mrs. Andy said.
"I understand everyone" Mr. Andy said. "If Mr. Gilbert had not liked her, he will call a senior doctor from the capital to cross check on the results, but now, if she's given a mouth watery offer by the Vice President, she'll forge a result to our disadvantage and Mr. Gilbert won't question her" Mr. Andy explained.
"Now I understand your plight sir" Hailey said.
"I'm sorry to interfere, but I think you're talking about Ms. Damien?" Sheldon the young lady in Mr. Andy's house asked.
"Yes, do you know her?" Hailey asked.
"She's dangerous, she will cause your downfall" Sheldon said pointing to Archer.
"What is she saying?" Archer asked.
"She's a Foreteller and that is why I shelter her" Mr. Andy replied.
"She told me my husband's work will cause him harm this week, I tried to think of how it would until our daughter was hit". Mrs. Andy explained testifying to Sheldon's ability.
"So, how do we stop her from causing harm?" Hailey asked.
"Mr. Archer will have to win her heart at all cost" Sheldon said, "Mr. Archer must woo her if he will have to reduce the damages".
"You mean?" Hailey asked, "Archer" she called facing Archer, "Archer" she called again as if expecting a response "you promised to be with me and no one else till the day you die". Hailey said bursting into tears, "you want to forsake me despite me carrying your child?" she asked revealing her pregnant state to everyone.
"Hailey, I have not decided to do that and you're already doing the unnecessary" Archer laments.
"He must build a strong relationship with her if he will reduce the damages, if you do not want him dead you have to allow him" Sheldon added directing her words to Hailey.
"Darling, let's get out of here already" Hailey said standing up.
"What type of fate am I even born with?" Archer asked in thought.
"Your fate cannot be changed, learn to live with it". Sheldon said clearing the table and leaving for the kitchen.

In Archer's house.
"Stephen, don't tell me you would give a second thought to what that witch said" she declared as they entered the house.
"At least, you will allow us to settle down before bringing up such a topic Hailey" Archer replied.
"It's worth not settling and you know it" Hailey said.
"I realized that doing what she said would only reduce damages not stop them, I realized that not doing it will lead my death, I realized that Sheldon could read my mind, and the most shocking, her reply, 'Your fate cannot be changed, learn to live with it' was from my dreams, I fear that If I fail to abide by her explanations it would lead to our child not having a father, would you like that?" Archer explained as he started crying turning his back to Hailey.
"If it's that serious, then we'll have to discuss about it" Hailey said going to console him.
"Thanks for understanding" Archer said.
"Don't just thank me yet" she replied.

"Good Morning, did Mr. Gilbert send you here?" Ms. Damien asked.
"No, I decided to come here personally, to check on you" Archer replied.
"Check on me?, or on the progress of the samples" Ms. Damien asked again.
"To check on you" Archer replied sitting opposite to her on her office.
"And I hope nothing is wrong, for you to come here to check on me and then without Hailey, I hope all is well?" She enquired.
"Just forget about her, don't just talk about her at all" Archer replied.
"Oh, if you don't want to tell me then, I'll just shut up" Ms. Damien said standing up and going out of her office.
"I don't mean it that way, okay I'll just tell you" Archer followed her to the changing room, where she attempted to change into her lab coat, "sit here first" Archer said holding her shoulders and helping her sit, "After leaving Mr. Gilbert's lodge yesterday, I suggest that we visit a cinema, she declined, I also said that we should at least visit a quiet and silent place, but she refused, thinking I wanted to take advantage of her, in anger she left for Baldom where her uncle stays" Archer lied.
"I see, that means you're all alone now" Ms. Damien said, "Sit, I knew she can be of no good to you, but you were also blind, not understanding signals all these while" Ms. Damien said.
"I'm sorry Ms. Damien, I now realize my mistake" Archer replied.
"No stop being too formal, my name is Flora Damien, you should feel free to call me Flora" Ms. Damien said.
"Okay, I'll do that henceforth Flora" Archer replied.
"Wow!!!" Ms. Damien exclaimed, "it's so nice to hear you finally say that" she said with a chuckle "I've always wished for this day" she thought.

"Wow, you're an expert in everything, you're a great chef indeed" Archer said enjoying the Rice pudding Ms. Damien had prepared.
"You would not know how long I've been longing for this day to happen" Ms. Damien said also eating her own share of food.
"I realized that Mr. Gilbert treats you too specially and I realized that he probably nurtures some feelings for you" Archer said looking straight into her eyes as if checking for lies.
"He should look for old ladies like himself, what else do I want or need when I have you already?" she said as they continued their meal.

Later on
"Flora, thanks for the meal" Archer said after enjoying a great meal.
"If all you've been telling me is true, then what's wrong with you calling me dear, bae, darling or honey? You make it seem like we're just friends" Ms. Damien replied while clearing the table.
"Okay, okay, take it easy dear, it's not what I've been doing" Archer said.
"I know, but try to start learning how to" Ms. Damien said, "rest a little and meet me in the room please" she voiced from the kitchen.
"God, why do I have to do all these to avoid death, is it not even better to die than to fornicate with this she-devil" he thought as he took his phone to call Mr. Andy, walking into to the parlor to move away from Ms. Damien who took plates to the kitchen .
Mr. Andy: Good Evening Steve
Archer: Evening sir
Mr. Andy: Are you okay?
Archer: Very well sir
Mr. Andy: Sorry it will be over soonย
Archer: Very soon sir.
"Stephen darling, please come in quickly I'm waiting" Ms. Damien shouted as she left the kitchen coming towards the parlor on her way to the room and causing Archer to end the call dropping the phone on the T.V.
"I'll meet you in a jiffy" Archer replied as Ms. Damien passed by and he walked to the dining to clear the dishes.
Archer's phone starts to ring when he was in the kitchen.
"Darling, pick your phone" Ms. Damien said coming out of the room to the sitting room, while Archer just walked out of the kitchen.
Archer looked at the phone on the television, Ms. Damien would get the phone before he could, he knew it would be Hailey and that spells trouble.
